Sir,

I have the honour to transmit in duplicate a

memorial addressed to you by Bagwan Singh late Peak Watchman in

the Sanitary Department.

2.

After careful consideration of this case which

is dealt with in the accompanying minutes by the Head of Sanitary

Department, I was satisfied that Bagwan Singh had failed to excul-

-pate himself from the charges laid against him and I accordingly

dismissed him from the Service on the 17th. August last in accord-

-ance with the provisions of Colonial Regulation 01.
